Hailes Avenue, New Bathroom in Edinburgh
Hailes Avenue is situated in central Edinburgh near the Colinton area of the city. We were approached by our client, who was looking for new bathroom in Edinburgh and had received a recommendation about Cloud 9 Installs. They currently had a family bathroom that they really wanted renovated. It was a standard size bathroom with a lot of people using it so it had to be practical.It was an old bathroom with lots of wood. We immediately ripped it all out and unfortunately all the walls crumbled. We took them all back to the brick and used the ‘dot and dab’ technique to plasterboard the walls. Once dried and smooth we tiled all the walls with a really nice subtle tile.
The customer also wanted to maintain their bath and wanted us to install a shower above the bath. We also tiled the floor with attractive tiles that matched the rest of the bathroom. Finally, we added the accessories which were a really stylish hanging wall radiator, some glass shelves and wooden cabinets below the sink and covering the cistern.
